What a wonderful experience! We had a great time with captain D, and the manatees. The boat is super nice and clean, and they even have a heater on board to help us warm up fast after the swim. The owner is super friendly throughout, from before booking inquiries, to phone calls and texts before boarding.

Yesterday's swim with the manatees with Blue Heaven River Tours was amazing. Swimming with a manatee is an awesome experience. They are, as Captain Ron said, like big puppy dogs...but gentler, and they don't chew on things, like me. They are curious, friendly, and to some degree, love attention.

We really can't say enough good things about our experience with Blue Heaven River Tours. They made every part of our experience seamless- answering our questions, providing instructions and equipment like wetsuits, and then ensuring we safely encountered those beautiful manatees. The owner and our boat captain (Matt) were also both friendly and very knowledgeable.

We took three total tours with Blue Heaven, two to swim with the manatee and the dolphin-nature tour. When another company cancelled our dolphin tour, Chuck and Ron were both very accommodating in getting us out same day, and we still saw the dolphins as we hoped. The highlight of course was swimming with the manatee which is an experience we will never forget!

Honestly the best scalloping tour you can find. This year we maxed out on scallops, swam with manatees and even saw dozens of dolphins in one boat trip. Blue Heaven River tours is always very accommodating and really tries to make the trip the best experience they can until the very last minute. We have now gone 3 years in a row and can’t wait to come back next year.
