What to Expect
You will be greeted at the dock by your captain and Blue Heaven River Tours. You and your guests will be fitted for wetsuits if you would like them. Your captain will then lead you onboard and make sure you are comfortable. Your captain will visit with you to create your custom tour. Then you will push off and start your adventure! You can view beautiful homes, hear about the history of the river, see the amazing wildlife, go for a swim, play in the water, enjoy the lunch, snacks, and drinks that you brought, and/or stop for lunch at a riverside resort.

Food and Drink
We welcome you to bring your own food and drinks! We ask that you enjoy your alcoholic beverages after diving or swimming. We love the manatees and strive to create an atmosphere that is educational, fun, and safe not only for our guests but for the wildlife as well. Ask us about adding a paddle board to your river adventure! Our Manatee Tours, Scallop Tours, Sunset Tours, and Fun in the Sun Tours are our pride and joy and we know you will love the experience! Everything is Provided
Wetsuits are provided from November 15th through March 31st during colder weather! We furnish everything you need from masks, snorkels, swim noodles and your own designated expert captain that will help guide you to the ultimate experience!

When to Arrive
It is very important to arrive a little early before your scheduled tour time especially if you will be using a wetsuit. This way, we can get you fitted for your wet suit, snorkel and mask and get underway on time. If you are running a little late, please call us to let us know so we can keep the captains informed. The boat will get underway no later than 15 minutes after its scheduled departure and there are no refunds issued so you can see the importance of being on time. Look for the "Blue Heaven River Tour Parking" signs when you arrive. Please have everyone in your party visit the restroom before you arrive. There are no restrooms available on the dock and we save the onboard restrooms for the tour.

What to Wear
If you are swimming, please come already dressed in your bathing suit so that it makes it easier and faster to get you suited up in your wetsuit and get underway. Wetsuits are always provided. You may not need a wetsuit on warmer days but they are always available. We have all sizes of wetsuits from toddlers to 5XL. We offer lifevests, swim noodles, marks, and snorkels. Wear some loose-fitting clothes to go over your swimming suit to help keep you warm. This will also give you something dry to change back into after your trip. Bring a towel for each person in your party if possible. If you can't, please let us know ahead of time so we can provide one for you. You may want to bring some sunscreen and lip balm especially if you will be enjoying a paddleboard or spending time out on the deck of the boat in the sun. Because space is limited, we do ask that you only bring aboard the essentials that are necessary. Please inform us if there are any medical conditions or physical or mental limitations that we need to be aware of. We keep this information confidential and never want to embarrass anyone. However, our goal is to help keep everyone safe.
